Ukraine has approved immigration quotas for foreign IT specialists

From July 21, foreign IT professionals can apply for an immigration permit. It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Science on Facebook.

“Within the established quota, Ukrainian IT companies will have the opportunity to employ an additional 5,000 highly qualified IT specialists on an almost permanent basis,” mentioned in the post.

Employees attracted within the quota will receive a residence permit. This way, they can live and work freely in Ukraine for 10 years.

There are also some foreign specialists who already live and work in Ukraine, they must submit their documents to the territorial division of the State Migration Service at the place of their registration. Nevertheless, specialists who located outside of Ukraine should to the consular offices of Ukraine abroad.

In fact, It should be mentioned that qualification requirements have been developed in order for foreign IT specialists who will be employed under immigration quotas have really high qualifications.

As a result, it should be pointed out that Ukraine positioning these immigration quotas in terms of digital transformation, it means that investment and business development will increase. At this point, foreign IT specialists can consider Ukraine as a potential country to work in.
